What services do you provide?

We offer individualized online reading support for your child. Each child works 1 on 1 with their tutor to help them improve their reading skills.
How do I know my child needs reading support?

If you suspect that your child is experiencing some difficulties with reading it is best to take action earlier than later. Scheduling an initial assessment allows you to see your child's area of need and learn my reccomendations for next steps. Tutoring can benefit your child if they: -Need One-On-One Attention -Get easily distracted -Experience test anxiety -Has low test Scores or low starting scores -Struggles with reading a text without interruptions -Struggles with comprehending the text
How long are the sessions and where are they conducted?

Our sessions are run online via Zoom. Each session is 45 mins.
What qualifications do you have as a tutor?

I have worked with children for over 15 years. I have my Masters in Literacy Education from NYU. Throughout my experiences I have improved hundreds of my students reading levels based on the research based practices I use during each session.
How long can I expect it to take before my child shows improvement?

Each child is different. With our individualized plan and the frequency of tutoring, we will make efforts to support all of your child’s reading needs. After our initial assessment session we will make student goals we will communicate what goals will be our priority goals and secondary goals.
How can I schedule a session?

On our website. Select the Schedule a Free Consultation button. After speaking with me for our free consultation, we schedule an initial assessment session. During this session, I conduct several assessments to assess your child’s area of need. This session also allows me to create a comprehensive plan and goals for our future sessions.
What are your policies?

Attendance Policy The student is expected to attend every tutoring session. We keep a 15 minute grace period but after that, the session will still end on time with total billing. Also, student needs to cancel or reschedule sessions at least 4 hours before the start of the session. If the student arrives more than 15 minutes late to their tutoring session, then they will need to reschedule the session within 14 days and follow the same cancellation/reschedule procedure as outlined above.
